Raiding feedback and roster

<  Raiding feedback and roster

Its seems that I have some problems to work out within our raiding system for the Vees. I apologize to those that have been skipped over or left out of the runs. With the recent additions of new members and new level 70s we have gone from not being able to fill a ten man Karazan run to having more people than slots for the weekend runs.

I want to take stock of who and what classes the Vees currently have at 70 or are making their way up. Please leave a comment on this post with the role you wish to fill, either tanking, dps or healing so I can take stock of what we have for class balance. My hope is to start putting together a second Kara run with in the next couple weeks.

While I would like to see everyone get a raid spot based on sign up order, this is proving to be very difficult and stressful for those trying to organize these events. I want to make sure that all of our players are getting as much out of the guild as possible. It is proving not possible for me to keep everyone happy all the time. I am asking that everyone have patience while I try to get things organized.

A certain gear level and class balance across the raid will ensure that we can progress though the content with as few wipes as possible. To do this our raid leaders will need to build the raids to make sure that we can succeed in each try with as few problems as possible. This will mean that you may not get selected to raid every week if we are heavy on a certain class. This is the reason I want to try to get a second run into Kara, to give as many people as possible a chance to go.

Above all else I need some feed back. I am completely new to this and am feeling a little daunted by the task in front of me right now.

voubabe

My warior, Vourice, still needs to be keyed. I don’t see myself upping the amount of time playing; I’m still just a casual player. I do eventually want to get into Kara, but it likely won’t be until April sometime that I’m able to do so.

veksing

Well, Veksing is still there and still in Kara.

I’m working very slowly on my shaman, Vudun. I still haven’t had enough practice healing to risk a ten man raid, but I’m willing to try if people will try a few easier five mans first. At least the 2.4 patch coming up should give me access to some very good gear earlier, although it feels kind of like cheating :-) .

handslive

Veinglorious is available for dps.

I don’t think I have quite enough good gear to be able to respec for healing. Last time I checked, my +heal was only around 800 or 850 without pots or food buffs. I’m thinking I may need to work on this in order to fill out the ranks of healers, though. I hope lots of folks respond to this survey so I’ll have a better idea.

Vicerunner

Vicerunner is available for DSP
Veebat is available for healing or off tanking if needed (i would prefer heals)

Veebat has entry level stats for both tanking and healing. His +heal is just over 1200. In tanking gear he is uncritable(defense 416) with about 19000 armour and 13000 health.

Vicerunner has most of the gear from Kara he would like but mostly just needs badges.

Vandelle

Vandelle (warrior) is available for dps, but not on Friday nights. Venjfelle (healadin) is working her way up, but won’t be Kara ready for a while.

Vizzini

Vizzini is available for DPS. I only need a pant/trouser upgrade, but I can always use more badges.

lilgreenman

I am worrior protect spec…. I would like to become a main tank or off tank until i really know the instance…

lilgreenman

sorry i can do weekends only friday and saturday

Voivod

Voivod is a level 70 dps combat daggers rogue. She is already raiding Kara, Gruuls and the beginnings of Zul Aman.

Kyrellian

Kyrellian and Tearsome are both available for raids as needed. I am quite flexible and willing to help others do runs for better gear.

Also to remember:
As of today – you do not need to have the Kara Key to get in Kara any longer – just need someone to open the door.

Spring and summer is approaching. Let us not forget that as the seasons become more enjoyable, that more people may not be as available as we are during the winter. I just want to point out this obvious point so there is less frustration for some as schedules will be changing.

Lastly – Thank you to the guild for putting so much effort into this growing team. Although not everyone can get in all the time, I am sure that the efforts are not unnoticed.

Yukionne

Yukionne is a Main Tank now collecting gear. She’s been allocated to the DPS department until her stuff meets spec.

oh and hai!

slash

Slash and Ron are available for raids as and when, though my schedule is not as flexible now as it used to be as most Saturdays I’m working.

Some purple trousers and a tier four titfer would be nice, I’m sure I can add a few more bits to the shopping list but …. :)
